Installation in 1884

Deacon Henry Taylor Memorial 

The stained glass windows in the sanctuary of First Parish Church were installed during major renovations in the church in 1884.  Originally funded by specific individuals to memorialize significant families and people associated with our church, they are currently enjoyed by all who visit or worship in our sanctuary.

This window commemorates the MacGregor family

The windows were dedicated on September 10, 1884.  Rev. Joshua Wyman Wellman said at this dedication:  “These memorial windows, so rich in artistic beauty, and tasteful, suggestive symbols, are richer still in the names they bear.”
